Industrial Construct Safety Supervisor in Thornton, Colorado

FLSA Status: Full Time / Exempt

Compensation: $80,000 -- $110,000 Annually depending on experience

With a 40+ year legacy as an award-winning General Contractor, we're looking for a Safety Supervisor to support our Colorado-based projects across manufacturing, material processing, food & beverage, power generation, aerospace, engineering, and other sectors.

As our Safety Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining safety excellence by implementing ICM's safety programs, conducting site audits, providing safety training, and ensuring full compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and local regulations.

What You'll Do

  • Implement and enforce ICM's safety programs in compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA regulations.
  • Ensure that all employees follow safe work practices and use company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.
  • Conduct daily job site audits and inspections to identify and correct hazards.
  • Provide and assist with training (Confined Space, LOTO, Fall Protection, First Aid/CPR, Equipment Operation).
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve safety, processes, and overall operational effectiveness.
  • Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and develop corrective action plans.
  • Maintain accurate safety documentation and ensure reports are complete and submitted per procedures.
  • Conduct work observations to identify unsafe acts; coach and mentor employees to reinforce safe behaviors.
  • Coordinate with and accompany all safety, health, and insurance inspectors on walk through tours.
  • Accompany safety, health, and insurance inspectors during walk-throughs and attend monthly Safety meetings to brief teams on site-specific issues.
  • Travel to area jobsites to perform safety audits.

What You'll Bring

  • *Education: *High school diploma or GED required.
  • *Experience: *5+ years of construction and/or industrial safety experience or degree in safety related field.
  • Certifications: OSHA 500 required.
  • *Technical Aptitude: *Proficiency in Microsoft Office, along with common business and software applications.
  • *Skills: *Strong knowledge of safety codes, excellent communication and organizational skills, proficiency with common business software.
  • *Attributes: *Proactive, detail-oriented, able to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams and committed to continually instilling a culture of safety.
