Thompson River Animal Care Shelter Operations Manager in Thompson Falls, Montana
Thompson River Animal Care Shelter (TRACS) is seeking an Operations Manager.
Duties:
- Conduct hiring, supervision of, and training for animal care providers
- Effectively communicate with team, donors, customers, and potential adopters
- Ensure maintenance of facility and grounds
- Manage adoptions
- Conduct administrative duties including but not limited to organizing schedules, sending and responding to correspondence, organizing and facilitating team meetings
- Problem solve
Skills & Qualifications:
- A love of animals and ability to make each animal's health and well being a priority.
- Ability to organize, coordinate, and supervise team
- Team oriented and ability to empower team
- Effective and empathetic communication skills using multiple platforms including in person, via telephone and email, and in writing
- Take direction and act on policies and procedures created by the Board of Directors
