- Job Title: High School English/Social Studies Teacher
- POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Create a class environment favorable to student learning and personal growth; establish effective rapport with pupils; motivate pupils to develop skills, attitudes and the knowledge needed to provide a solid foundation for an appropriate education, in accordance with each pupil's ability; and establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Deliver instruction and assess academic growth for students with a broad range of abilities. Knowledge of district educational initiatives such as MTSS, Love and Logic, and Science of Reading preferred but not required. Potential extra-curricular coaching opportunities may exist. Our high school enrolls 175 students in grades 9-12 and offers a full schedule of English and Social Studies core courses and electives. The successful candidate will be working with another full-time English teacher and a full-time social studies teacher. The community of Thompson Falls is nestled in the beautiful Clark Fork Valley located 100 miles Northwest of Missoula. - REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reports to the building principal
- TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time position: 1 FTE Must be 5-12 Certified For the 2026-27 school year our teachers start at a minimum salary of $42,863 (2026-27 minimum salary) and up to 10 years of experience can be used for placement on the salary schedule.
