Job Title: Forklift Operator Job Description
As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for picking parts, hardware, and subassemblies from the warehouse to supply the production line. You will spend approximately 70% of your time operating a forklift, with the remainder spent loading and counting parts by hand. You will work from printed pick sheets that include bin locations and delivery points on the production line. This is a high-traffic position that requires strong forklift skills. Additionally, you will conduct inventory counts and assist with unloading trucks to restock shelves.
Responsibilities
Operate a forklift to transport parts and materials within the warehouse.
Pick parts, hardware, and subassemblies to supply the production line.
Load and count parts by hand as needed.
Work from printed pick sheets to determine bin locations and delivery points.
Conduct inventory counts and assist with restocking shelves.
Assist in unloading trucks with products.
Essential Skills
Proficient forklift operation skills.
6 months of forklift or equipment operation experience.
Ability to read and write clearly.
Understanding of part numbers and locations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with RF scanners is a plus.
Material handling and inventory management skills.
Packing and parts pulling experience.

Work Environment
Work in a dynamic production plant where the warehouse regularly turns over materials and parts to supply the line. Standard work hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional Fridays required to prep for the following week. The team also works during holiday shutdowns to conduct inventory. Safety is a priority, so steel-toed boots and safety glasses are required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Thief River Falls, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
