How you create impact
The members of the 24/7- RPPS and PLACI specialist desk will collaborate with BU and FU personnel in resolving 1st and 2nd level sanction and embargo related RPPS and ATS support requests, as well as real-time resolution of PLACI referrals issued by competent customs and aviation authorities (Request for Information (RFI), Request for creening (RFS) and Do-not-load (DNL)).
The RPPS and ATS related support tasks encompass analysis and assessment, whether the system flagged countries, parties to the transaction, ownership of companies and articles shipped are subject to any applicable sanctions and embargoes and subsequent approval or denial of these transactions. This task is executed in close collaboration with the business units (BU) and functional units (FU) and the respective customs and aviation authorities and partners.
What we would like you to bring
▪ Thorough understanding of international sanction regimes and embargoes
▪ Excellent analytical skills to interpret and understand internal company guidelines,regulations
and legislative text
▪ Technical skills (working with wide array of TMS, BI platforms and electronic document archiving
solutions, basic troubleshooting capabilities, understanding of XML data structures, retransmission
of messages)
▪ Excellent communication skills in English language (in writing and verbally)
▪ High sense of duty
▪ Acceptance of 24/7 shift work
What's in it for you
Trade Control RPPS and ATS
▪ Resolution or escalation of incoming 1st level RPPS and ATS support request in accordance with applicable SLA and working instructions
▪ Thorough case-by-case investigation of RPPS and ATS 2nd level support requests and assessment of applicability / resolution options in accordance with applicable laws and regulations as outlined in respective SLAs, company guidelines and working instructions
▪ Decision making on 2nd level support requests in accordance with internal company guidelines and documentation of decision and associated rationale in RT system
▪ Review, coordination and approval of shipments to defined high risk locations (countries) as set forth in applicable working instructions EU ICS2 / PLACI and any future PLACI regimes
▪ RFI referrals: Submission of requested documentation and/or information in accordance with applicable SLA
▪ RFS referrals: Initiation of High Risk Cargo and Mail screening in collaboration with KN origin branch office in accordance with applicable SLA
▪ DNL referrals: Immediate release of emergency response plan and involvement of BU / Corporate Security
▪ Activation of PLACI BCP in case of system malfunctions
▪ Support of BUs during BCP phase
▪ Basic technical troubleshooting with regard to PLACI risk profiling messaging as per working instruction
