At Cardinal McCloskey Community Services, we believe in strengthening families to protect children. We're seeking a dedicated and strategic Social Work Supervisor to lead our Family Treatment/Rehabilitation (FT/R) program in the Bronx-serving high-risk families where substance use or mental health challenges threaten child safety and stability.
This is a powerful opportunity to lead a team of passionate professionals, guide impactful interventions, and help prevent foster care placements by promoting healing, resilience, and long-term well-being.
Responsibilities:
Supervise up to 5 Social Workers and 2 Case Aides, each managing caseloads of up to 10 families
Conduct monthly case supervision and weekly professional development sessions
Ensure documentation aligns with ACS program standards and indicators
Support the development of comprehensive assessments addressing substance use and mental health needs
Monitor family engagement, behavioral progress, and in-home functioning to meet performance-based outcomes
Oversee service delivery efforts, including weekly casework contacts and compliance tracking
Requirements:
Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) or
Master's Degree in Human Services and at least two years of relevant child welfare experience.
Additional Requirements:
Working knowledge of ACS Prevention Standards and Policies, as well as CONNECTIONS and PROMIS data systems.
Flexibility to meet changing needs and demands.
Fluency in Spanish and English a Plus.
