At CMCS (Cardinal McCloskey Community Services), our mission is to protect, empower, and promote independence for at-risk children and families and those with developmental disabilities through quality community-based services.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and energetic Assistant Teacher to join our Infant/Toddler Program. In this role, you'll work closely with the Lead Teacher to create a nurturing, responsive classroom environment that supports each child's emotional and developmental growth. Your presence will help build a foundation of trust, safety, and learning for our youngest learners.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Lead Teacher in guiding and supervising all classroom activities

• Implement daily routines and smooth transitions with warmth and consistency

• Foster a safe, engaging, and emotionally secure environment for infants and toddlers

• Build strong relationships with children and families through responsive interactions

• Promote developmental milestones through play-based learning and care

  Position Hours : Monday-Friday From 8am-4pm

  Requirements:

• A caring, upbeat personality and genuine love for working with young children

• Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential with Infant/Toddler specialization, or active study plan toward completion

• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, including 12 credits in infant/toddler development
