Job Title: 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician
Job Description
This role supports a 2nd shift maintenance team in an industrial dry food manufacturing facility, focusing primarily on mechanical maintenance of high-speed food processing and packaging equipment. You will perform hands-on repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems to keep production running safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Responsibilities
Perform hands-on mechanical maintenance on dry food processing and high-speed packaging equipment, with a strong focus on mechanical work.
Conduct routine and scheduled preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Troubleshoot and repair high-speed food processing and packaging machinery, including conveyors and related systems.
Diagnose and resolve PLC-related issues, including basic PLC troubleshooting on industrial control systems.
Perform electrical troubleshooting on industrial equipment, excluding 3-phase 480V work, to identify and correct faults in motors, controls, and wiring.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to guide maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
Essential Skills
Proven experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude with extensive hands-on mechanical maintenance experience, with approximately 80% of work being mechanical.
Experience performing preventative maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
Experience working with high-speed food processing and packaging equipment, including maintenance and repair.
Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and work from schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Experience with PLC troubleshooting in an industrial setting.
Electrical troubleshooting skills for industrial equipment, excluding 3-phase 480V systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley equipment and controls.
Experience working with conveyor systems in a multi-level facility.
Background in electrical maintenance within an industrial environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $63752.00 - $83824.00/yr.
