Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our team in an industrial food manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for maintaining dry food processing equipment and ensuring optimal performance through hands-on mechanical maintenance, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting high-speed food processing and packaging equipment.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical hands-on maintenance, focusing on 80% mechanical aspects.
Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure proper functionality.
Troubleshoot high-speed food processing and packaging equipment.
Execute PLC troubleshooting tasks.
Handle electrical troubleshooting (excluding 3 phase 480V).
Engage in occasional welding and fabrication tasks.
Essential Skills
Proven experience in mechanical and hands-on maintenance.
Strong background in preventative maintenance.
Proficiency in troubleshooting high-speed food processing and packaging equipment.
Competency in PLC troubleshooting.
Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting.
Experience with industrial maintenance, including motors and installation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and schematic interpretation.
Experience with allen-bradley systems and conveyor installation.
Familiarity with blueprint reading and repair techniques.
Ability to work Monday - Thursday (possible overtime on Fridays) from 4:00PM - 2:30AM.

Work as a Maintenance Technician in a food manufacturing facility that spans four stories. The facility features conveyors between each floor and is equipped with air conditioning, though it can be dusty due to food ingredients.

This is a Permanent position based out of Terre Haute, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $63752.00 - $83824.00/yr.
