We are looking for aSenior Talent Acquisition Specialist – Operationsto support hiring for ourDutch operations, based inTerneuzen, the Netherlands.

In this role, you will be a critical partner to our manufacturing sites and operational organizations in Dordrecht, Delfzijl and Terneuzen, responsible for attracting and hiring high-impact talent that supports safe, compliant, and high-performing operations.

As Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist you will bring strong experience in operations‑focused recruitment, including manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, maintenance, and technical roles, and understand the challenges of plant‑based hiring in the competitive Dutch labour market.

You own theend‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle, leveraging deep local market insight and strong stakeholder partnerships to deliver high‑quality hiring outcomes in a fast‑paced, safety‑ and performance‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary recruitment partner for operational and site-based functions in the Netherlands, serving as the key contact for local HR, plant leadership, hiring managers, recruiters, and candidates.

  • Partner closely with HR business partners, operations leaders, site logistics managers, and functional heads to understand short- and long-term workforce needs across manufacturing, logistics, maintenance, and operational support teams.

  • Manage the full recruitment process for operations-critical roles, ensuring alignment with safety, compliance, and business continuity requirements.

  • Translate operational hiring needs — including Early Career strategy, skilled professionals, and experienced hires — into clear, compelling job descriptions and targeted recruitment strategies aligned with the Dutch labour market.

  • Lead sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill operational roles, collaborating with Talent Sources and Talent Marketing to proactively build pipelines for technical and operational talent.

  • Post and manage job openings across internal systems, external job boards, and social platforms relevant to operational hiring in the Netherlands.

  • Conduct candidate pre-screenings and (video) interviews, assessing not only skills and experience but also operational mindset, safety awareness, and cultural fit.

  • Act as the main point of contact during interview coordination, selection decisions, and salary offer processes for operations roles.

  • Provide market intelligence and insights on availability of operational talent, wage trends, and hiring challenges to support workforce planning decisions.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on speed, quality, and scalability of operations hiring, contributing to process optimization and knowledge sharing across HR.

  • Ensure a strong Candidate Experience and Hiring Manager Experience, with particular attention to clear communication and realistic job previews for operational roles.

  • Partner with HR Business Partners, business leaders and site leadership to build sustainable recruiting and sourcing strategies for Dutch operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Engineering Management, or a related field.

  • Preferably 4 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with a strong focus on operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial environments.

  • Solid understanding of the Dutch labour market, including regulations, collective labour agreements, and hiring practices relevant to operational roles.

  • Fluency in Dutch and English is required; additional European languages are an advantage.

  • Experience using AI-enabled recruitment tools (e.g. Copilot or similar) is a plus.

  • Operational Stakeholder Management – Ability to partner effectively with plant managers, operations leaders, and HR to balance business urgency with recruitment quality.

  • Strong Communication Skills – Clear, pragmatic communication style suited to operational environments and diverse candidate populations.

  • Planning & Prioritization – Proven ability to manage multiple operations-driven requisitions with competing deadlines.

  • Adaptability & Problem-Solving – Comfortable navigating changing production demands, hiring spikes, and labour market constraints.

  • Data-Driven Approach – Ability to use recruitment metrics and labour market data to improve hiring outcomes for operations teams.

  • Recruitment Technology & Tools – Experience with Workday, ATS platforms, LinkedIn, and other sourcing tools; ability to leverage AI to improve efficiency and candidate matching.

  • This position is focused on supporting operational hiring for Dutch sites and requires strong local market expertise and on-site collaboration.
