Honeywell Sr Advanced Quality Engineer in Tempe, Arizona
You will leverage your expertise in quality engineering to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance product quality, instilling trust in our customers and setting new industry benchmarks.
You will report directly to our Quality Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Tempe, Arizona location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the quality standards of our products, ensuring that they meet both customer expectations and regulatory requirements. Your leadership and technical skills will be essential in fostering a culture of quality excellence throughout the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role is heavily focused on owning and driving the VOB (verification of build) process at the site.
Conduct work instruction and BOM design reviews; identify any gaps in the design/interpretation and confirm the work instructions properly capture all assembly drawing requirements.
Verify Test Instructions and Acceptance Test parameters and procedures meet drawing requirements.
Participate in developing/improving quality compliance on new and existing production processes.
Perform product/process audits to ensure adherence to Honeywell and customer standards.
Drive RCCA and investigations that involve associates in the prevention of defects.
Direct and coordinate compliance with all applicable standards including E-cats and RCCA administration.
YOU MUST HAVE
5 or more years of experience in quality engineering within the manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools.
Experience with statistical analysis tools and techniques to drive data-driven quality initiatives.
Proficiency in quality management systems and regulatory compliance.
High school Diploma or GED.
WE VALUE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
Thorough understanding of ISO and AS9100 requirements.
Ensure that procedures and processes are compliant to FAA and ISO regulations.
Investigate non-conformances, perform and drive root cause analysis, recommend corrective actions, and ensure effectiveness as applicable.
Evaluate current processes and use Six-Sigma/statistical techniques to drive continuous improvement.
Perform internal audits to ISO9000/AS9100 requirements.
Ability to read specifications, prints, and use general inspection tools
