Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and algorithms to simulate telecommunications models for aerospace projects. Duties include: Develop and maintain software applications using C and C++ languages on Linux/Unix platforms, including command line scripting. Perform software testing and debugging; identify and resolve software defects to ensure functionality and performance. Use integrated development environments (IDEs), software configuration management (SCM) tools, and software testing tools. Develop software components using Python and JavaScript, including development of microservices within Docker containers. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to maintain software quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software components and resolve integration issues.\ Contribute to creation and execution of software testing plans, including unit and integration testing. Participate in meetings with client stakeholders and assist in component-based design systems, creation of low- and high-fidelity wireframes, user flow diagrams, and mockups.
