Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

We are looking to hire multiple Project Managers to support various projects throughout Phoenix, Tucson, and Las Vegas. We seek a mix of levels ranging from 2 to over 6 years of experience to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall financial health of projects by developing and maintaining project financial projections and equipment projections.

  • Determine and allocate project estimates into the financial system, manage cost codes, approve invoices, and make necessary budget management decisions.

  • Provide financials and billings to accounting for timely payment and create monthly owner billings.

  • Manage subcontracts and suppliers by overseeing budgets, selecting trade partners and suppliers, handling billings, and managing contracts.

  • Supervise Assistant Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s), provide job assignments, manage career development, and approve time cards.

  • Function as the main point of contact with the owner and on-site representative, assist with reviewing the owner agreement, resolve site concerns, and build positive relationships.

  • Manage change orders by determining submission times, obtaining customer/architect approval, and maintaining high-level management of quality, risk, safety, and compliance.

  • Provide effective coaching and feedback, manage performance, and maintain project schedules and budgets.

Essential Skills

  • Project management experience in commercial construction and general contracting.

  • Experience with Procore and construction management.

  • At least 2+ years of experience for Project Manager I, 5+ years for Project Manager II, and 8+ years for a Project Manager.

  • Ground-up construction experience.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and manage multiple project tasks.

  • Basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant web applications.

  • Ability to interpret and communicate policies effectively.

  • Active listening skills and effective communication, open to diverse input and feedback.

  • Ability to travel as required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management is preferred, or equivalent experience.

Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite at project locations with working hours typically ranging from 40-50 hours per week, depending on project demand. Per diem is provided for those traveling to Tucson or Las Vegas, while local candidates receive a company vehicle or allowance plus a gas card. This is a Permanent position based out of Tempe, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
