We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Lead, Partnership Accounting to play a key role in overseeing the accuracy, integrity, and execution of our partnership accounting processes. In this role, you will lead the team through complex partnership calculations, ensure high-quality outputs, and continuously identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You will also drive the development of insightful analyses that inform and support executive-level decision-making related to our partnerships.
In this role you will:
Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and emerging risks within partnership accounting processes, and proactively recommend enhancements to improve accuracy, timeliness, and the overall partner experience.
Provide coaching, mentorship, and quality review for Analysts and Senior Analysts, fostering technical excellence and professional development.
Design, execute, and maintain complex calculation models across multiple partner offerings, ensuring alignment with business objectives and firm‑wide initiatives.
Serve as the escalation point for technical issues, complex partner scenarios, and interpretation of partnership agreement terms, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Income Tax, Legal, Treasury, Digital teams, and external partners to resolve issues, enhance transparency, and create value in a fast‑paced environment.
Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week effective June 1, 2026. Before June 1, 2026, candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
Commesurate with experience
Hiring Minimum: $101700
Hiring Maximum: $173200
Skills/Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification or master's degree preferred
Minimum 7 years experience in accounting or financial analysis.
Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and financial modeling.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with partners and senior stakeholders.
Familiarity with partnership tax concepts is preferred.
Experience with automation tools (e.g., Power Query, Power BI, and Tableau) is highly desirable.
