Our higher education client is seeking a talented Copywriter to join their marketing team. This role is mostly remote and will be 15-20 hours/week, butyou must be based in the Phoenix or Tempe areato attend school events as needed to interview stakeholders and summarize event activities. Please only apply if you are local to the Phoenix area, as this role requires you to be onsite in some capacity.\ \ Key Responsibilities
- Write clear, persuasive, and original copy for various platforms including news articles and blog posts
- Edit and proofread content to ensure it meets brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Conduct thorough research to understand audience and industry trends.
- Attend in-person events on campus to interview stakeholders and summarize event activites.
- Optimize content for SEO to improve online visibility and engagement.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of creativity and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor\'s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience as a copywriter or in a similar role.
- Strong editing and proofreading skills.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
- Excellent research skills to gather information on various topics.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently as needed.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
