Job Posting: Lead Triage & Salesforce Operations Specialist (Operations Processor 3 – Contingent)

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, analytical, and technically skilled Lead Triage & Salesforce Operations Specialist to support a high‑volume, fast‑paced sales environment. This role replaces a departing team member during a major shift in lead strategy—moving from field-assigned to fully centralized lead management.

The ideal candidate excels in multitasking, has strong Salesforce and Excel expertise, and thrives in environments where accuracy, fairness, and data insights are critical. You will play a key role in processing, validating, and distributing leads while ensuring an exceptional operational workflow for the sales organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage, validate, and manage a significantly increased volume of inbound leads

  • (now 90% routed through Salesforce, previously 50%).

  • Ensure accurate, equitable distribution of leads across all sales agents.

  • Use Salesforce extensively to review, track, prioritize, and assign leads.

  • Analyze lead flow and pipeline data to provide actionable insights to leadership.

  • Maintain lead documentation, dashboards, trackers, and operational materials.

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand changes in lead flow and process updates.

  • Identify data inconsistencies, troubleshoot issues, and partner cross‑functionally to resolve them.

  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Operate efficiently in a dynamic environment with shifting sales strategies and priorities.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, data cleansing, etc.)

  • Hands‑on Salesforce experience or similar CRM/pipeline management platforms

  • Strong ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and present insights clearly

  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills; comfort handling high lead volume

  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience in a sales environment preferred, but candidates from customer service or CRM‑heavy roles are welcome

  • Excellent attention to detail and comfort working with complex datasets

  • Technical aptitude for CRM navigation and data troubleshooting

Nice to Have (Secondary Skills)

  • Additional CRM or reporting tool proficiency

  • Process improvement experience

  • Exposure to sales operations or revenue operations teams

This role is backfilling an outgoing team member, and demand is increasing significantly as the organization transitions to a fully centralized lead assignment model. As lead volume grows and strategies shift, this position becomes critical to maintaining accuracy, fairness, and operational stability.

This is a Contract position based out of Tempe, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.41/hr.
