Job Title: Expeditor / Counter Sales Representative
Location: Tempe, AZ 85281
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (30-minute lunch break)
Position Overview
We are seeking an Expeditor / Counter Sales Representative to join our team. The role involves high-volume quoting and customer communication centered around industrial products, primarily pipes, valves, and flanges. Attention to detail and accuracy with numbers is critical.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and respond to 50-60 emails daily
Create accurate and detailed quotes for customers
Work with purchase orders (POs); no cash or credit card processing
Utilize Excel for spreadsheets and code management
Enter and process data in Oracle (prior experience a plus, but training provided)
Provide outstanding customer service at the sales counter
Requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, basic formulas, and entering data)
Must understand basic codes and work with numbers accurately
Tech-savvy with strong computer skills
Forklift certification (sit-down or stand-up) is a huge plus
Prior experience selling or quoting industrial materials (pipes, valves, flanges) preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
Dress Code

T-shirt (nothing offensive or political)
Compensation
- $21 - $24 per hour, DOE (Depending on Experience)
