The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include supporting all activities pertinent to the timely, accurate and efficient processing of commercial account transactions including onboarding clients into the system, opening and closing accounts and handling transitions and conversions. The Commercial Account Operations Analyst / Officer assists with:
Providing client support for onboarding, maintenance, and closing activities
Reconciling and reviewing incoming or outgoing data for accuracy to ensure data quality
Ensuring timely and effective commercial account monitoring and reporting
Identifying, documenting, and escalating significant gaps or data quality issues
Ensuring corporate account onboarding, transition and closing activities meet compliance, legal and regulatory requirements
Preparing required documentation for audit purposes
Work Experience:
Financial services industry experience. Knowledge of commercial account operations or related discipline a plus
Understanding of the account activation process and corresponding regulations preferred.
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated command of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Strong analytical abilities and abilities to learn
Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
Knowledge of credit agreement negotiation, legal documentation, and risk management.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functional teams.
Functional Skills:
Basic experience with commercial accounts, cash management, payment operations or other deposit services
Exposure to commercial or corporate account banking systems and processes
Foundational knowledge of financial products, accounting principles and compliance regulations
Exposure to regulatory and reporting requirements
Proficiency with relevant business software

Education:
Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable
Degree in accounting, finance, or other relevant fields
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in structured finance, or a similar role in the financial services industry.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $61K - $77K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonuses and/or incentive compensation.
