Paychex Client Migration Project Manager in Tempe, Arizona

Overview

Acts as project manager on behalf of Paychex and clients during the Preview-to-Flex migration phase. Coordinates team responsible for clients' migration of Paychex software and hardware systems until clients successfully implement product suite.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as primary contact for clients during the migration process to communicate and coordinate migration steps, resolve issues, answer questions, and ensure expectations and deadlines are met.

  • Determines clients' product needs to set expectations.

  • Establishes and maintains partnerships with IT, Flex Forward, migration analysts, Sales, and ongoing Service teams to ensure clients' needs are assessed and met.

  • Creates and manages an implementation timeline including all tasks to be completed to ensure a successful client launch.

  • Oversees client training to ensure client expectations are met.

  • Manages communications and meetings with internal team members to ensure tasks are completed and deadlines met.

  • Manages changes in project scope, identifies potential risks, and devises contingency plans to ensure client needs are met.

  • Provides regular status updates to Flex Forward Supervisor/Manager, migration team, and ongoing service to ensure all tasks are completed.

  • Ensures all end-user documentation is complete and delivered, allowing clients to effectively utilize products.

  • Performs a professional and thorough transition to ongoing support team.

  • Makes recommendations regarding needs analysis and process improvements for implementation team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree - Preferred

  • 1 year of experience in Implementation Coordination.

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $59,669 to $93,766 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the Talent Acquisition & Onboarding position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
