Job Title: Performing Loan Consultant (Call Center – Mortgage Services)
Location: Onsite – Tempe, AZ (5 days/week)

Position Overview
The Performing Loan Consultant serves as the frontline representative for homeowners, delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced call center environment. In this role, you will handle both inbound and outbound calls, work directly with customers who are past due on their mortgage payments, and help develop realistic payment solutions that bring accounts current.
This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to manage sensitive financial conversations with empathy and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound calls with homeowners regarding mortgage servicing and payment inquiries
Contact past-due borrowers to identify reasons for delinquency and develop customized payment solutions
Process mortgage payments accurately and efficiently
Address general mortgage servicing questions, including escrow, payoffs, and website support
Refer eligible homeowners to refinancing opportunities when appropriate
Use manual and automated dialing systems to manage outreach efforts
Document all customer interactions accurately and in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines
Meet or exceed performance metrics, quality standards, and attendance expectations
Participate in ongoing training related to mortgage servicing, compliance, and customer engagement
Represent the company professionally and positively at all times
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
Comfort working in a high-volume call center environment
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems
Ability to work independently while following established procedures
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of experience in collections, customer service, or financial services (not required)
Call center experience is a strong plus
Mortgage or loan servicing knowledge preferred but not required
Sales, negotiation, or retention experience a plus
Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates encouraged to apply

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
