Position Summary
The Site Master Planner responsible for long-range site planning, layout governance, and integration of infrastructure, buildings, and utilities for new facilities and retrofit development. Manage the review and coordination of site-impacting engineering and architectural design projects that may be technically complex, highly visible, or priority initiatives, to verify alignment with approved Site Master Plans and long-term site strategy.
Projects will require a high level of technical proficiency in site planning principles, infrastructure coordination, constructability, and phased development, as well as the ability to balance near-term project needs with long-term operational and expansion requirements across multiple active sites.
Role and Responsibilities
Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:
Own, maintain, and continuously update the Site Master Plans for the Austin and Taylor sites as living documents.
Ensure site layouts, building placement, and infrastructure strategies align with approved master plan intent and long-term expansion goals.
Support design review of site-impacting scopes including civil, architectural, utilities, access, and logistics.
Maintain and report planning and project information with internal and external stakeholders such as Engineering, Facilities, Operations, EHS, Construction, and external design partners.
Organize and lead site planning reviews, coordination meetings, and present updates to management teams as the single point of contact for site master planning.
Facilitate development and maintenance of site planning standards, design criteria, and reference documentation.
Coordinate continuous improvement of site development strategies through lessons learned, field observations, and evolving business needs.
Review and report scope change requests related to site layout, infrastructure capacity, phasing, cost, and schedule.
Review, approve, monitor, and communicate all ongoing site-impacting design work.
Proactively perform risk identification and mitigation across all aspects of site planning to reduce rework, conflicts, and long-term constraints.
Skills and Qualifications
Here's what you'll need:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Planning, or a related technical discipline, and/or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in site planning, civil engineering, architecture, facilities planning, or large-scale industrial or campus development.
Demonstrated experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing complex site interfaces.
Strong understanding of site development sequencing, infrastructure planning, and constructability considerations.
Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects on active industrial or manufacturing sites.
Familiarity with BIM-enabled site planning and digital delivery workflows.
Experience working in semiconductor manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, or mission-critical facilities.
Experience with both greenfield and brownfield site development.
Strong knowledge of site planning principles, infrastructure coordination, and long-range development strategies.
Ability to interpret civil, architectural, and utility design documents.
Experience working with BIM and digital site models.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
Effective communicator capable of translating technical constraints into clear recommendations.
Able to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and lead through influence.
The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
