Plans, directs and coordinates activities of designated technical and business projects, to ensure that goals are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. Develops, manages and coordinates project plans of different degrees of complexity. Specifies goals, strategy, staffing, work breakdown, scheduling, budget, identification of risks, contingency plans and allotment of resources for each phase of the project. Formulates and defines scope and objectives of project for project personnel.
JOB DUTIES
Broadly applies principles, theories and concepts related to the profession. A seasoned, experienced professional with an in-depth/full understanding of area of specialization.
May provide recommendations regarding issues outside the bounds of defined procedures and practices. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Wide latitude for decisions within assignments, programs and projects; impact is generally limited to the project or department.
Acts as a resource to advise, and may at times a lead the work of lower level professional and/or support employees. Generally represents the department on projects and may perform in a project leadership role.
ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES
Develops project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allotment of resources for each phase of the project
Oversee project assignments, work schedules, training, mentoring, and coaching for other employees as assigned by the Manager
Ensures work assignments of team members are completed in a timely manner and reviews work product of team for accuracy prior to submitting for management approval
Identifies and schedules project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks
Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure projects progress on schedule and within prescribed budget
Manages and monitors the work of the team to ensure focus on high‑priority items while promoting teamwork
Implements metrics to track team performance against schedule expectations and budget
Prepares project status reports and keeps management, clients, and others informed of project status and related issues
Obtains project sign‑off of completion through customer satisfaction and acceptance testing
Establishes standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation
EXPERIENCE
- Requires minimum 8 years related work experience in excess of degree requirements
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree : Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (Required)
Master's Degree : Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (Preferred)
or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required
CERTIFICATION
PMP Project Management Professional (Preferred)
PgMP Program Management Professional (Preferred)

Expected Salary Range:
$112,178 - $190,703
