NEED Personnel Placement Machinist II in Taunton, Massachusetts
MACHINIST II Under general and routine supervision and following established procedures, operates and sets-up production machines to manufacture components to item specifications. This will be done by utilizing computerized numerical control (CNC) machines to perform various machine functions such as cutting, drilling, milling, reaming, boring, dicing and grinding of nonmetallic work pieces. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Use skills in geometry and trigonometry configure machines and cutting tools to exact measurements that will produce products as designed and illustrated on engineering blueprints. * Machine these production parts by operating and setting up equipment such as CNC Lathes and CNC Mills using existing tooling and/or fixtures. * Start and stop machines as required to maintain quality, safety and production efficiency. * Perform machine set-ups, tool offsets, editing changes and adjustments necessary to maintain quality of production. \$30 per hour ++
