Job Description Summary
Activities contributing to the design and procurement of Electrical BOP systems. Includes activities linked to conceptual, basic and detail design of various EBOP packages for Hydro Power Plant. Leading the project execution design activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures to maintain KPI of the organization.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
To work on EBOP packages – Transformer, GIS, Switchyard, Busduct, Distribution system, cable, grounding etc.
Do basic and detail design of EBOP packages.
Prepare calculation reports and sizing of the systems;
Do offer evaluation, interaction with supplier, Bid Evaluation
Maintain risk and opportunities in the package
Ensure timely deliveries of Documents
Identify and take actions to remove roadblock by escalating issues.
Understand and apply design processes
Attend the technical team in client meetings
Knowledge about interfaces of electrical BOP packages with each other and with other functions .
Ensuring correct interfaces in the projects.
Ability to make assumptions using the experience and reflect positive behaviour.
Ability to get the work done from persons working on contract, suppliers and other stake holders.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Engineering
Experience in EBOP Hydro Power Plant Design, having a good knowledge of all the EBOP packages.
Behavioral and Technical Skills / Competencies:
Customer focus and committed to on time delivery.
Good command over English – written & verbal.
Good command on MS Office, Autocad, knowledge on ETAP, system studies and protection settings would be an added advantage
