Role: Senior FAE- Silicone Application Development
Job Responsibility
Lead technical discussion with customers for technical requirement in new applications
Lead technical discussion with internal stakeholders for project development
Align with customers on technical requirements and key CTQs in materials and application processes
Translate customers' technical criteria into CTQs for material properties
Develop experiment plan and design DOE with FAE and technician
Collect, summarize and communicate results and recommendations to ensure technical specification needs are met
Assist in research efforts to improve existing lab scale manufacturing process and create new applications.
Work independently with minimal guidance, providing guidance to less senior team members. Assignment often requires independent judgment and evaluation.
Solve complex problems; take a new perspective on existing solutions; exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
Experienced professional with in-depth knowledge in material science, responsible for completing complex tasks requiring interpretation of practices, recommend improvements to the delivery of specialized processes
Lead on regular technical sharing with internal project stakeholders and sponsors
Qualifications
Master’s degree in chemistry/ chemical engineering / material science and engineering is required.
Experience in consumer electronics industry is preferred. (1015 years)
Experience in failure mode analysis, DOE design, and troubleshooting is a plus.
Ability to work and communicate effectively within the organization.
Independent research, as well as teamwork is required.
Fluent in English & Mandarin.
Good computer proficiency.
Be able to travel.
