Job Description
This role involves installing, fabricating, and assembling sheet metal ductwork and related HVAC components on commercial construction projects. You will work with stainless steel and galvanized duct, perform retrofit and new AC installations, and interpret blueprints to complete accurate layouts and installations in the field.

Responsibilities
Install, hang, and secure stainless steel and galvanized ductwork on commercial construction sites.
Fabricate sheet metal duct and fittings according to project specifications and industry standards.
Install VAV (Variable Air Volume) boxes and associated components as part of HVAC systems.
Perform retrofit work, including removal, modification, and replacement of existing duct and HVAC components.
Support AC installations, including piping and controls, ensuring proper alignment, sealing, and system integration.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan and execute accurate duct layouts and installations.
Complete field layouts for duct runs and related systems when needed, adjusting for site conditions.
Collaborate with site crews and other trades to coordinate installation sequences and resolve conflicts.
Communicate effectively with team members and customers to clarify requirements and provide status updates.
Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times while on site.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
Work Environment
This is a field-based role on active commercial construction sites. The schedule typically runs Monday through Friday with 10-hour days, with some Saturdays as project demands require. You must wear appropriate PPE at all times while on site in accordance with safety standards. New hires participate in on-site orientations to review safety procedures, site rules, and project expectations before starting work.

This is a Contract position based out of Tampa, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
