Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP Senior Transportation / Traffic Engineering Designer in Tampa, Florida
Must have the following in order to apply:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 15+years of experience in the civil engineering field
- Knowledge of FDOT standards, specifications, policies, and procedures
- Experience designing transportation projects and preparing contract documents in accordance with FDOT policies and procedures
- Experience with design software tools including MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, and/or AutoCAD
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical Certification, Associate or Bachelor degree
- Experience with other state and local agencies in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic
- 3D design experience

Job Description:
The company is currently seeking an experienced civil engineering Designer to join their Transportation - Traffic team in the company's Tampa, FL office. The Traffic Engineering Designer will participate in the planning and design on transportation related projects. The primary duties will be to support Senior Engineers in a variety of tasks in the field of transportation design.
