SGI Global is seeking a Senior Special Operations Analyst (SOA) to provide analytic support to USSOCOM J8-S in support of Joint Mission Analysis (JMA), force structure analysis, Concept of Operations (CONOP) development, and the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) development cycle. The SOA will apply subject matter expertise in Special Operations and planning to analyze force requirements, assess capability gaps, support Defense Planning Scenarios, and develop analytic products that inform senior leader resourcing decisions.

Responsibilities
Maintain subject matter expertise of Global and Regional Plans and the USSOCOM Campaign Plan for Global Special Operations (CPGSO) as relevant to CONOP development for Defense Planning Scenarios
Conduct, participate in, or support analysis for JCIDS and SOFCIDS using JMA data, approved databases, models, and analytic tools
Provide JMA data to support studies, analyses, and development of models, war games, and simulations
Develop, coordinate, and maintain the JMA Analysis Plan Apply Strategic Programming Guidance and Defense Planning Guidance in analysis used to assess SOF force design and force planning
Utilize the SOFAMS suite of software products to support the POM development cycle Interpret SOF adaptations and OSD Planning Scenarios into tactical-level CONOPS to analyze required special operations force structure
Support Government generation of requirements for SOF using the latest J5 SOF Operating Concept Enter CONOPS into the JMA database to track SOF requirements
Maintain quality control of user-entered data inside the JMA database Provide a Risk-Constrained Force Structure using SCRAAM
Work with Government and contractor ORSA personnel to develop analytical products derived from the JMA database Evaluate force capability and capacity required to execute the National Defense Strategy Generate strategy-to-task relationships from strategic-level documents
Conduct force structure excursions using qualitative and quantitative techniques to assess risk
Analyze fiscally constrained resource files against requirements sets to highlight sufficiency and risk of force structure
Qualifications
U.S. Citizen.
10 years of uniformed military experience with 5 years assigned in a Special Operations Unit.
Top Secret Clearance desired but must possess a current DoD Secret clearance and be upgradable to Top Secret within 4 months and eligible for SCI access and ACCM read-on.
3 years of experience (can be concurrent with the 10 years above) in deliberate planning or demonstrated expertise in joint planning is desired as SOF CONOP development is required.
Top Secret Clearance desired but must possess a current DoD Secret clearance and be upgradable to Top Secret within 4 months and eligible for SCI access and ACCM read-on.
