Position Description: RN - Pediatrics
The Pediatric Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of pediatric patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Pediatric Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.
The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care
Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with pediatric patient, family, and significant others
Identifies pediatric patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.

Required Qualifications:
Registered Nurse license
BLS
At least one year of RN acute care experience
Pediatric RN experience preferred
Associate's Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications:
PALS
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Status: Full Time, Exempt: No
Shift Hours: 6:45PM-7:15AM
Shift: Shift 3
Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies
Weekend Work: Every Other
On Call: Yes
