As a Product Manager in Payments - Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), you are an integral part of the team that innovates new product offerings and leads the end-to-end product life cycle. As a core leader, you are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer and developing profitable products that provide customer value. Utilizing your deep understanding of how to get a product off the ground, you guide the successful launch of products, gather crucial feedback, and ensure top-tier client experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability, resiliency, and stability, you collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that exceed customer expectations.
Job responsibilities
Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
Establish oneself as the subject-matter expert in Remote Deposit Capture, translating market dynamics and client needs into actionable strategy
Define and communicate a clear product vision and multi-year roadmap that delivers quantifiable customer and commercial outcomes
Lead discovery and market research; synthesize insights into problem statements, solution hypotheses, and prioritized requirements
Define, monitor, and report key success metrics (e.g., adoption, reliability, risk posture, cost, feature utilization) to inform decision-making and governance
Oversee complex client onboarding and manage escalations to ensure consistent, high-quality client experiences
Coordinate internal and external communications regarding product updates; maintain comprehensive product and system documentation
Leads Agile execution in partnership with Technology and Operations, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release management
Cultivates effective partnerships with Operations, Technology, Implementations, Sales, and Service to ensure alignment and timely delivery
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
Proven ability to document and verbally communicate concepts and ideas, including product requirements, in appropriate formats to technology partners as well as all stakeholders
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; highly organized and detail-oriented; able to operate with minimal supervision
Ability to translate business requirements into clear, testable technical specifications for engineering teams
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Deep understanding of receivables and cash application products, markets, and customer needs
Familiarity with emerging fintech technologies and receivables industry trends, with a track record of integrating relevant advancements into product strategy
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
Demonstrated ability to engage directly with clients, understand their needs, and resolve complex issues efficiently
