Citigroup Manager Fund Pricing in Tampa, Florida
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Vice President of Asset Pricing to lead our asset pricing function in North America. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and ongoing management of robust pricing methodologies and strategies across a diverse range of fund products. This role requires deep expertise in financial markets, quantitative analysis, regulatory requirements, and leadership skills to manage a team of pricing professionals.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute the overall asset pricing strategy in alignment with business objectives and market conditions.
Provide expert guidance on complex pricing issues, new product launches, and market developments.
Represent the asset pricing function in senior management meetings, providing insights and recommendations.
Methodology and Model Development:
Oversee the design, validation, and maintenance of pricing models and methodologies for various asset classes (equities, fixed income, derivatives, alternative investments, etc.) within different fund structures (mutual funds, ETFs, hedge funds, private equity funds).
Ensure pricing methodologies adhere to industry best practices, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP), and regulatory requirements.
Drive innovation in pricing techniques, leveraging new technologies and data sources.
Team Management and Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of pricing analysts and specialists.
Foster a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and professional growth within the team.
Manage resource allocation and project prioritization for the pricing function.
Risk Management & Compliance:
Establish and maintain robust internal controls and governance frameworks for asset pricing.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies (e.g., SEC, FCA, ASIC) and industry standards.
Address audit findings and implement corrective actions related to pricing.
Operational Oversight:
Oversee the daily pricing processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency of valuations.
Implement and optimize pricing systems and data infrastructure.
Manage relationships with external pricing vendors, auditors, and data providers.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with portfolio managers, risk management, legal, compliance, operations, and product development teams.
Communicate complex pricing concepts and their implications to various internal and external stakeholders.
