Robert Half Internal Controls & Compliance Analyst in Tampa, Florida
Description
We are looking for an experienced Compliance Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Tampa, Florida. This role is vital in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards through detailed control testing and risk management processes. The ideal candidate will bring over six years of expertise in compliance and operational risk, with the ability to analyze complex situations and collaborate effectively to enhance organizational security and governance. This position is 5 days on site.
Job Functions
• Collaborate with team members to enhance compliance strategies and strengthen the firm’s risk posture.
• Utilize analytical skills to plan and execute testing tasks effectively.
• Provide insights and recommendations on complex compliance issues to support decision-making.
• Ensure consistent application of industry best practices and procedures within the financial services and banking sectors.
• Support the Testing Center of Excellence by contributing to the development and refinement of testing methodologies.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation summarizing findings and recommendations.
Requirements
• Minimum of five years of experience in compliance or operational risk management roles. (SOX or SOC experience is desirable but not required)
• Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with financial services and banking industry practices.
• Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and documentation.
