Kelly Services Fork Lift Operator in Tampa, Florida
Job Title: Lift Truck Operator (LTO)
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Lift Truck Operator (LTO) to join our team. This role is responsible for safely handling and moving product within a freezer environment while maintaining efficiency and accuracy in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Unload and reload trucks in a timely and safe manner
Stack, up-stack, and down-stack product as needed
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials
Maintain organization of inventory within the warehouse
Assist with general warehouse duties as required
Collaborate with team members to clean and sweep the freezer and cool dock at the end of each shift
Work Environment:
Freezer and cold dock environment (cold temperatures)
Proper cold-weather attire is required
Requirements:
Prior experience operating a forklift and/or pallet jack preferred
Ability to work in a cold/freezer environment
Strong attention to safety and detail
Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
Ability to lift and move materials as needed
Dress Code / Equipment:
Warm clothing required for freezer conditions
Employees are encouraged to bring their own cold-weather gear (limited gear available on-site)
Composite toe shoes are recommended (steel toe also acceptable)
