Working in IT at Kuehne+Nagel contributes to more than we imagine.

At Kuehne+Nagel, our IT solutions empower thousands of colleagues globally to deliver excellence in logistics. In this role, you will contribute to KN Flow, our internal workflow platform that supports critical business processes across Sea Logistics, Finance, HR, and other key functions.

As part of an experienced Scrum team, you will work across the full software development lifecycle—designing, building, optimizing, and supporting a platform essential to our daily operations. Your work will directly influence stability, scalability, and user experience across the organization.

How you create impact

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will make an impact by:

  • Designing and developing full‑stack solutions that drive KN Flow’s continuous evolution.

  • Building robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot to ensure scalability, stability, and long-term maintainability.

  • Enhancing frontend capabilities with Angular to deliver intuitive and effective user experiences.

  • Working with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, enabling efficient data handling, optimization, and performance improvements.

  • Supporting our CI/CD and deployment ecosystem, including Jenkins, GitLab, virtual machines, and microservices deployed on OpenShift.

What we would like you to bring

We are looking for someone who brings:

  • Strong full‑stack development experience, especially with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, and CSS.

  • A solid grasp of clean engineering practices, scalable solution design, and modern development principles.

  • Hands-on experience with relational databases, ideally Oracle and PostgreSQL, including SQL optimization.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and workflows, particularly Jenkins and GitLab.

  • Background working with microservices and container platforms such as OpenShift, with bonus points for AWS or Kubernetes/EKS familiarity.
