Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and safety-conscious Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for moving and transferring products from shipping boxes to processing areas while adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
Move and transfer products from shipping boxes to the processing area.
Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines related to bulb and material handling.
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Properly stage and organize materials for processing.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Complete basic documentation and logs as required.
Assist with general material handling and facility support duties as needed.

High school diploma or GED
1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production plant, or recycling plant
Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for the duration of the shift

Work Environment
This position is based in a warehouse setting that is not climate-controlled, which can get hot in the summer. You will be exposed to lighting equipment, materials, and controlled processing systems. PPE is required at all times in designated areas, and a safety-first, regulated work setting is maintained.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tallahassee, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
