The organization is undertaking a Digital Payments and Transformation program to modernize payment processing and improve security, compliance, and user choice. The IT Program Manager will lead and coordinate multiple IT delivery workstreams across integrations, testing, infrastructure, and business readiness in partnership with internal stakeholders and a strategic implementation partner. The role will establish program governance, manage RAID, drive hybrid delivery practices, and ensure successful delivery, testing, and operational handover aligned to program milestones.

Rate: $90.00 to $95.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:

  • Establish, manage, and oversee the IT delivery structure to align with program goals and priorities.

  • Coordinate work across multiple IT delivery workstreams including integrations, testing, infrastructure, business readiness, and change management.

  • Coordinate a hybrid delivery methodology that combines Scrum at the team level with predictive planning at the program level.

  • Drive IT program governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

  • Serve as the lead IT project manager for all workstreams within the program.

  • Develop and maintain the integrated IT delivery plan with milestones, dependencies, budgets, and resource allocations aligned to program milestones.

  • Maintain a RAID log and drive mitigation and resolution activities, escalating as required.

  • Monitor and manage scope, schedule, and budget changes, escalating to program governance as required.

  • Serve as the primary IT program interface with executive leadership and business stakeholders.

  • Facilitate program steering committee meetings and executive reporting in partnership with business program management.

  • Manage program IT communications, status reporting, and escalation procedures.

  • Provide regular, consolidated IT delivery status reports covering progress, risks, dependencies, and financials.

  • Manage complex integration requirements across multiple internal and external systems.

  • Coordinate IT delivery activities and deliverables across teams.

  • Ensure technical architecture alignment with business requirements and enterprise standards.

  • Lead comprehensive testing strategy and execution across teams.

  • Oversee UAT, SIT, and performance testing.

  • Ensure operational readiness, knowledge transfer, and business adoption for all program objectives.

  • Coordinate transition of solutions into production and operational support.

Experience Requirements:

  • Senior-level IT program management experience leading large, multi-workstream initiatives.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams and complex dependencies.

  • Experience operating across large, interdependent enterprise programs.

  • Background working in regulated environments related to payments or billing.

  • Proficiency with hybrid delivery models combining Scrum and predictive planning.

  • Strong governance, RAID management, and risk escalation experience.

  • Executive-level stakeholder engagement and concise status reporting.

  • Jira expertise including metric extraction, interpretation, and data-driven decision support.

  • Demonstrated ownership of IT budgets including estimating, forecasts vs. actuals, and early budget risk identification.

  • Hands-on leadership of testing oversight including UAT, SIT, and performance testing.

  • Experience coordinating complex system integrations across vendors and internal teams.

  • Ability to align architecture decisions with enterprise standards and business requirements.

  • Payment systems experience (preferred).

  • Experience with Paymentus integrations (preferred).

  • Guidewire experience or exposure (preferred).

  • Familiarity with payment security, data, and compliance considerations (preferred).

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
