UI Software Engineer
The Software Engineering team delivers next‑generation application enhancements and new products for a changing world. What you’ll achieve
As a UI Software Engineer on the TDC Solution team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining user‑facing software applications and features for Dell’s AI and Solutions hyperconverged infrastructure platform.
You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to translate product and user requirements into clear frontend technical approaches, and leverage AI‑assisted development tools to improve development efficiency, code quality, and user experience—while building solid UI engineering judgment.
You will:
UI / Front‑End Development
Design, develop, test, and maintain UI components, frontend logic, and related APIs.
Implement UI/UX enhancements and ensure responsive, performant, and user‑friendly interfaces.
Follow best practices for code quality, testing, documentation, and maintainability.
AI‑Assisted UI Engineering
Use AI‑enabled tools to support UI development, refactoring, debugging, styling, and test creation.
Follow established workflows when using tooling, and validate outputs for correctness, usability, and accessibility.
Improve tool‑assisted outputs under guidance from senior engineers.
Problem Solving & Quality
Troubleshoot UI and frontend issues, contributing to root cause analysis and quality improvements.
Ensure high‑quality UI code through testing, code reviews, and adherence to engineering standards.
Collaboration & Customer Focus
Work closely with engineering, and product management to ensure seamless integration and high‑quality delivery.
Engage with customers and support teams when needed to diagnose and resolve production issues in user‑facing systems.

Essential Requirements
Experience with network, storage, or security product UI development.
Exposure to virtualization technologies such as VMware.
Exposure to containerized platforms (Kubernetes, Rancher, etc.).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD workflows (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub CI/CD).
Experience using AI‑enabled tools to improve frontend development productivity or code quality.
Desirable Requirements
Experience with network, storage, security product development is a plus
Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware is a plus
Experience with containerized orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Rancher, etc.) is a plus
Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as VMware VCP or AWS Certified Developer, are a plus
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub CI/CD) is a plus
Experience using AI tools or prompts to improve frontend development productivity and code quality.
