Your role and responsibilities
As a Business Transformation Consultant specializing in Application Automation, you will drive automation transformation across geographies for clients and analyze client application portfolios to identify automation opportunities. You will leverage your expertise in AI/GenAI, RPA products, and process/task mining tools to propose tailored automation solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Analyze Client Portfolios: Analyze client application portfolios to identify automation opportunities and propose an automation journey, utilizing your knowledge of AI/GenAI, RPA products, and process/task mining tools.
• Develop Automation Solutions: Write process definition documents (PDD), test cases, and manage change to deliver automation solutions that meet client needs, leveraging IBM's focused RPA products and process/task mining tools.
• Position IBM Differentiators: Utilize your understanding of IBM differentiators, such as IT/AI Operations, Digital Workers, and Agent/User Assist, to position them effectively in client solutions.
• Measure Outcomes: Measure outcomes for in-scope use cases/processes to ensure successful automation transformation.
• Leverage IBM Platforms: Utilize IDCP (IBM Delivery Central Platform) and IBM Consulting Advantage platform, consisting of Methodx, assets, and assistants, to deliver high-quality solutions.
Required technical and professional expertise
• Deep Expertise in AI/GenAI: Possess a strong understanding of AI/GenAI concepts and their application in automation transformation, including the ability to analyze client application portfolios and identify automation opportunities.
• RPA Product Knowledge: Have experience with IBM's focused RPA products, such as BluePrism, UiPath, Powerautomate, IBM RPA, and Automation Anywhere, as well as process/task mining tools like Celonis, IBM Process Mining (myInvenio), and UiPath.
• Industry-Specific Knowledge: Possess industry-specific knowledge to propose the most suitable automation solution, taking into account the client's business needs and requirements.
• Experience with IBM Differentiators: Have a deep understanding of IBM differentiators, such as IT/AI Operations, Digital Workers, and Agent/User Assist, and be able to position them effectively in client solutions.
• Familiarity with IBM Platforms: Be acquainted with IDCP (IBM Delivery Central Platform) and IBM Consulting Advantage platform, consisting of Methodx, assets, and assistants, to deliver high-quality solutions.
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Industry-Specific Acumen: Possess a deep understanding of specific industries, enabling the proposal of tailored automation solutions that address unique business needs and requirements.
• Advanced RPA Product Knowledge: Have experience with a range of RPA products beyond IBM's focused suite, allowing for adaptability and versatility in delivering automation solutions.
• Process Mining Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of process/task mining tools, such as Celonis, IBM Process Mining (myInvenio), and UiPath, to analyze and optimize client processes effectively.
