Advanced Energy Lead Electronic Engineer in Taipei City, Taiwan

Lead Electronic Engineer

KEY RESULTS AREAS / DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & TIME SPENT ON THE DUTY

  1. Power Supply Design & Project Execution

  2. Lead the design and execution of high‑power, high power‑density power supply development projects.

  3. Own electrical circuit design (including magnetics and thermal) and perform detailed analyses.

  4. Guide schematic capture and PCB layout in collaboration with CAD engineers.

  5. Conduct circuit simulations and produce clear, data‑driven design reports.

  6. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of AI server and cloud power application requirements.

  7. Own and report the project schedule; track risks and drive mitigations.

  8. Failure Analysis (FA), Testing & Debugging

  9. Perform failure analysis, identify root cause, and drive corrective / preventive actions.

  10. Support unit bring‑up and capture key waveforms at each design stage.

  11. Independently execute required bench debug and co-work with TE on ATE (Automated Test Equipment) testing.

  12. Design Documentation

  13. Review customer specifications and technical documents for completeness and clarity.

  14. Maintain and control the BOM.

  15. Own design review minutes and follow‑through on actions.

  16. Generate and maintain other design artifacts (e.g., compliance matrices, test plans, etc.).

  17. Design Support & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  18. Conduct component sourcing and evaluation.

  19. Partner with PM, support teams, and factory to ensure smooth development and ramp.

  20. Participate in conference calls with customers and suppliers.

  21. Provide technical support for production and field issues.

  22. Customer Liaison

  23. Act as a liaison between Artesyn Engineering and customers.

  24. Demonstrate strong communication and the ability to assess customer requirements.

  25. Build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
