Key Responsibilities
Handle import and export customs declaration and clearance for air and ocean shipments
Prepare and submit various customs declarations, including general import/export, bonded cargo, logistics center inbond/outbond, and transfer shipments
Manage and execute bonded warehouse and logistics center customs operations in compliance with customs regulations
Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, customs authorities, and internal logistics/warehouse teams to ensure smooth clearance
Review and verify shipping and customs documents (Invoice, Packing List, B/L, AWB, COO, permits, etc.)
Support customs inspections, document amendments, exception handling, and follow-up actions
Maintain accurate records, filing, and system updates for customs and clearance activities
Assist with customs audits, AEO/self-declaration compliance, and internal control requirements
Perform other import/export or logistics-related tasks as assigned
Requirement:
Licensed Customs Declaration Specialist, officially certified by the Ministry of Examination, with solid professional credentials in customs compliance.
Over 5 years of Customs Brokerage experience, with proven ability to manage clearance, inspections, and exception handling independently.
Hands-on experience in import/export customs clearance
Familiar with Single Window / EDI customs systems
Solid knowledge of bonded warehouse, bonded factory, or logistics center operations
Experience with AEO programs or self-declared customs operations (preferred)
Familiar with Taiwan customs regulations and clearance procedures
Background in high-tech, equipment, machinery, or spare parts import/export
Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work under time-sensitive conditions
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with internal and external parties
English reading ability for shipping and customs documents
