Your role and responsibilities
As a Brand Sales Specialist for zHardware, you will be responsible for creating demand and progressing opportunities to close for zHardware solutions. This role involves driving sales efforts for a range of IBM zHardware products and services, including Hyper Protect Crypto Services, Hyper Protect Virtual Servers, and LinuxONE Emperor 4. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Create Demand for zHardware Solutions: Develop and execute strategies to create demand for zHardware solutions, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities and progressing existing ones to close.
• Progress Opportunities: Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to progress sales opportunities, providing solutions that meet client needs and driving revenue growth for IBM zHardware products and services.
• Deliver Solution Sales: Apply knowledge of zHardware solutions to deliver sales that meet client needs, working closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions.
• Identify New Sales Opportunities: Continuously identify and pursue new sales opportunities for zHardware solutions, staying up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity.
• Drive Revenue Growth: Focus on driving revenue growth for IBM zHardware products and services, developing and executing sales strategies that deliver results.
Required technical and professional expertise
• Exposure to zHardware Solutions: Familiarity with IBM zHardware products and services, including Hyper Protect Crypto Services, Hyper Protect Virtual Servers, and LinuxONE Emperor 4, with the ability to apply this knowledge to drive sales efforts.
• Understanding of Solution Sales: Experience working with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions, with a focus on delivering sales that meet client requirements.
• Knowledge of Market Trends: Exposure to market trends and competitor activity in the zHardware space, with the ability to stay up-to-date and identify new sales opportunities.
• Experience with Sales Strategies: Experience developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth for technology products and services.
• Familiarity with Client Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively with clients and internal stakeholders to progress sales opportunities and deliver solutions that meet client needs.
Preferred technical and professional experience
• Additional zHardware Knowledge: Exposure to other IBM zHardware products and services, such as Data Privacy Passports, IBM Cloud LinuxOne Bare Metal, and Hyper Protect Digital Assets, can be beneficial in this role.
• Broader Solution Sales Experience: Experience working with clients to deliver sales across multiple technology products and services can be an asset in this position.
• Industry Insights: Familiarity with industry trends and competitor activity beyond the zHardware space can help inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
