Job Description

Work Arrangement: This position is categorized as HYBRID on the NIGHT SHIFT . This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the office three times per week (or other frequency) as dictated by the business.
The Role
The GBST Testing Management CoE Supervisor serves as a key leader in ensuring quality assurance and fit-for-use of the end software product as well as driving strategy, governance and growth of the GBST Testing Team serving key workstreams such RTP, OTD, and RTR under the Transformations TTD Pillar and potentially PTR (Plan to Report)
As the supervisor of the Testing team, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated software test professionals in Manila, Philippines. Your team will play a pivotal role in driving transformation initiatives and improving our business processes by ensuring that our software products are suitable for launch/end-use.
What You'll Do
Operate and oversee planning, design, execution, and reporting of tests to ensure that software meets quality standards and is free from errors or defects.
Understand business requirements and acceptance criteria to perform a logical test to prove functionality
Create a comprehensive test plan to test all developed requirements in a sprint and to build on for an E2E test plan.
Design and maintain re-usable test cases and test strings to confirm new functionality for current and future testing.
Prepare and maintain validation evidence of test status through screen shots and test case progression.
Provide and maintain clear status in reporting during UAT for responsibility, escalation, and execution.
Develop user stories to document business requirements, prepare user acceptance test plans, and support technology deployments.
Collaborating with other stakeholders, such as developers, project managers, and business analysts, to ensure that testing aligns with project goals and objectives.
Establish goals for the testing team and assess the team’s progress against the goals.
Explore opportunities for A.I. (Glean) implementation to testing operations
Assist on overall people management for Testing CoE
Risk management and identification of mitigating solutions
Expansion of Test Management CoE coverage in terms of business and workstreams supported (including but not limited to Plan-to-Report)
Train new team members in our testing methods and standards.
Delegate testing tasks to your team.
Automate as much of the QA and testing process as possible.
Report-out on the team’s performance to the leadership on a regular basis.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
Minimum 10+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance, Software Testing or related field.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Information Technology, Sales & Marketing, Business or a related field
ISTQB or equivalent certification preferred.
Demonstrated experience as a people leader.
Knowledge in Order to Deliver (OTD/OTC), Record to Report (RTR), Request to Pay (RTP) and Plan to Report (PTR) Workstreams are preferred
Knowledge in A.I., PowerBI, Knime and other self-serve automation tools

Strong client service skills, ability to listen and action the voice of the customer.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, in an internal or external consulting role, with proven ability to effectively execute projects and deliver results.
Detail oriented, with strong business acumen, and experience in evaluating financial measurements and project results.
Affinity with technology and/or familiarity with analytics tools and techniques
Highly motivated and willing to learn and take on new challenges.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Experience with Agile / Scrum framework is preferable.
