Job Description
Responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, tracking, and distribution of materials, goods and equipment in Company’s Tacoma Facility. Ensures all inventory transactions are properly recorded in SAP (or equivalent) and aligned with Company policy. This role supports marine and project operations through effective onsite coordination, physical inventory control, equipment operation, and adherence to safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
This is a temporary role with the opportunity for conversion to a permanent position based on performance and business needs .
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :
Responsible For
Receipt of goods & equipment
Inputting Receipt of / Issue of goods and equipment in SAP (or equivalent)
Movement of goods & supplies into quayside loading area for project support
Perform counts and physical inspection of items that arrive in warehouse
Verity/validate documentation from suppliers in accordance with Foss policies
Support the shipping of goods or equipment to vessels or other locations via postage services or third-party trucking
Maintain organization and housekeeping yard area and warehouse(s)
Operate company equipment such as vehicles, cranes, forklifts or other equipment as required
Basic knowledge of computers (Word, Excel, SAP & Outlook)
Adhere to all company safety, environmental, quality assurance and security programs
Adhere to company policies
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications: This position generally requires 3-5 years’ experience. Previous experience operating forklifts in an industrial setting, and warehouse experience. Physical and pre-employment drug testing are also pre-requisite of employment
Working Conditions : Work is performed in a working yard both indoors and outdoors in inclement weather conditions. May be required to work more than a normal workweek, including weekends depending on operational needs. Travel may also be periodically required. Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement.
Compensation:
Pay for this position will be between $23 and $30 per hour based on experience.

Vacation - Foss appreciates how hard employees work and recognizes the importance of providing time for rest and relaxation. In this position you will accrue 10 days of vacation a year with a maximum accrual of 160 hours. Accrued vacation will be vested and available for use after successfully completing six (6) months of service.
Nine (9) paid holidays with two (2) additional floating holidays available after six (6) months of service.
Full time employees will accrue ninety-six (96) hours of sick leave per year, up to a maximum of 1,040 hours.
Bereavement Leave - three (3) paid days off for a death in the immediate family, or five (5) days off if travel greater than 500 miles is required.
Tuition reimbursement.
All other benefits as required by state law.
