Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Junior Low Voltage Technician in Tacoma, Washington who is eager to learn and grow in the electronic security and fire alarm industry.

As a Junior Technician, you will work alongside experienced technicians and site leads to learn the installation, testing, maintenance, and repair of low-voltage security and life safety systems.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about technology, electronics, and hands-on technical work and want to build a career in the low-voltage, fire alarm, and security systems industry.
Responsibilities
Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of low-voltage systems, including:
Fire alarm systems
Access control systems
Intrusion detection systems
CCTV surveillance systems
Mass notification systems
Support system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities
Provide professional customer service while representing Evergreen onsite
Ensure work is completed in compliance with state, federal, and safety regulations
Assist with service documentation, work orders, and project administration
Follow technical instructions, blueprints, and installation standards
Required Qualifications
Low-voltage training certificate or related technical training
Basic knowledge of electrical wiring or electronics installation
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers and team members
Ability to schedule appointments, follow instructions, and meet code requirements
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Ability to pass background, drug, and motor vehicle screenings
Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Active government clearance
Experience working on military bases or federal contracts
OSHA 30 certification
Low Voltage Trainee Card
Compensation
$21 – $25 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
