Tri-State Upholstery Upholstery Tear Down Technician in Taberg, New York
NY1614822 Upholstery Tear Down Technician Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 (based on experience)
Job Responsibilities: Remove existing fabric and coverings from furniture. Pull staples and strip materials down to the frame. Disassemble furniture components (arms, legs, cushions, etc.). Assist with restuffing and preparing pieces for reupholstery. Operate hand tools and staple guns safely and efficiently.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Comfortable standing and working on your feet for up to 8 hours. Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks.
Ideal Candidate: Detail-oriented and reliable. Experience with upholstery or similar hands-on work preferred (but willing to train the right person). Works well independently and as part of a team.
