IBM Technical Support Professional - Storage Protect Family in SÃO PAULO, Brazil

Your role and responsibilities

IBM Storage is seeking a new team member interested in being part of our worldwide Storage Protect team committed to supporting global customers. As a Technical Support Engineer Professional, you will interact remotely with clients and will be responsible for handling their cases in an effective and accurate manner, using our database of knowledge, techniques and procedures while documenting case details and action plans to deploying workarounds or fixes. So, problem troubleshooting, analysis, root cause determination, and resolution are key skills needed to in this position, as well as the ability to communicate in writing and verbally in English is a must.

You will also work closely with the development department to perform complex analysis and debugging and collaborate to improve the quality, functionality, and ease of use of the Storage Protect product.

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Forte experiência em suporte ao cliente.

  • Conhecimento básico em Storage, Sistemas Operacionais, Servidores e Redes.

  • Excelentes habilidades de resolução de problemas, com atenção aos detalhes.

  • Capacidade de manter a calma sob pressão.

  • Forte habilidade de construir relacionamento com clientes.

  • Fluência em inglês (oral e escrita).

Preferred technical and professional experience

  • Conhecimento em Python.

  • Experiência prévia como engenheiro(a) de suporte técnico.

  • Conhecimento avançado, experiência e/ou certificação na família Storage Protect, servidores como AIX / Linux / Windows e Cloud.

  • Fluência em espanhol.
