SUNY Upstate Medical University Medical Technologist 3, Blood Bank in Syracuse, New York
Job Summary:
Performs routine and specialized Blood Bank tests and procedures. Prepares components as appropriate for transfusion. Depending on operational needs, technologist may rotate throughout other sections of the laboratory.
Minimum Qualifications:
NYS license/registration or limited permit to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist and 2 years clinical lab experience required. Candidates with no clinical lab experience or with a NYS license/ registration or limited permit to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technician will be considered for appointment to a commensurate title and salary. Ability to distinguish colors required.
