Adecco is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator for a client manufacturing client located in Syracuse, NY. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is committed to quality, safety, and efficiency.
Schedule
Monday – Thursday: 5:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Friday: 5:30 AM – 9:30 AM
Pay Rate
- $18.00 – $38.00 per hour , based on experience
Position Summary
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient operations and high-quality output while maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment according to established procedures
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules
Perform routine inspections and quality checks on finished products
Adjust machine settings to maintain product specifications and minimize waste
Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and escalate concerns as needed
Maintain accurate production and quality records
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret technical documents
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motion
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
Work Environment
Industrial/manufacturing setting
Exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels
Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
