Here's what you'll be up to: * Engineering Tasks: Perform routine engineering work using standard techniques and procedures to carry out your tasks effectively. * Learning & Development: Complete assignments designed to build your professional knowledge and abilities while being guided by experienced engineers. * Resource Management: Execute instructions, plan and organize resources, and ensure that work is carried out efficiently and aligns with company policies. * Collaboration: Actively engage with our IT and third-party communications partners to develop end-to-end communication solutions. * Professional Networking: Build and nurture relationships with industry peers and external influencers to stay updated on technical innovations and their potential benefits. * Storm Support: Assist with storm restoration efforts in addition to your regular job duties, helping to keep our systems running smoothly.What You'll Need * Bachelor or Master's in Computer Network Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution * Graduated between May 2025 and June 2026 * Ability to begin the National Grid Graduate Program on July 13, 2026 * Valid driver's license required with a safe driving history that meets National Grid's Safe Driver policy * Work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States (such as sponsorship for an H-1B, TN, O, L, STEM OPT, or other employment-based work authorization) It would be awesome if you had * Completion of Fundamentals of Engineering exam * Network and telecommunications engineering experience or coursework * Completion of Fundamentals of Engineering exam * Network and telecommunications engineering experience or courseworkAt National Grid, we're SuperpoweredThe world of energy is changing faster than ever.
