Following Orientation, you'll begin working in full-time position outlined below and take part in ongoing development activities including quarterly development sessions, active mentorship, and a Hackathon Project.Group Function Rotations Graduates in our Finance teams will take part in a 12-month exploration. Your first 6 months will be in the role outlined below and you will return to this role following a broadening 6-month placement designed to provide you with a breadth of experience within your functional area and accelerate your progression at National Grid. This placement will provide you with the opportunity to solve complex problems and focus on growth that will transform the energy sector as we know it.About the PositionAs an Associate Analyst, you'll join a dedicated team committed to delivering financial insights that drive strategic decisions and sustainable growth. You'll play a key role in supporting financial operations, helping us deliver value to our stakeholders and communities across New York State. All role requirements are subject to change based on business needs.What You'll Do As an Associate Analyst, you'll support the team by delivering accurate financial analysis, reporting, and insights that drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency across the organization. Here's what you'll be up to: * Budget Development: Support the creation of budgets, financial models, and related documentation for assigned business units, ensuring alignment with Corporate FP&A standards and organizational needs. * Collaboration: Work closely with the Finance Business Partnering team to contribute to consolidated National Grid USA budgets and long-term business plans. * Plan-to-Perform Process: Assist in executing the Plan-to-Perform process, ensuring we meet governance, timelines, and reporting requirements. * Team Partnership: Collaborate with colleagues in the US Controllership to foster a supportive and inclusive team environment. * Relationship Building: Build and maintain effective working relationships across teams, showcasing your strong teamwork and communication skills. * Continuous Learning: Show your commitment to professional growth by actively seeking opportunities to develop your skills and advance within the organization. * Capital Portfolio Support: Provide financial support for managing our growing capital portfolio, ensuring efficient delivery against our five-year financial framework and contributing to New York State's infrastructure resiliency and sustainability goals.What You'll Need * Bachelor or Master's degree from an accredited institution preferably in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Graduated between May 2025 and June 2026 * Ability to begin the National Grid Graduate Program on July 13, 2026 * Valid driver's license required with
